天美传媒下载 Children’s recently celebrated the grand opening of its new critical care expansion on 天美传媒下载 Green with a symbolic ribbon cutting attended by 天美传媒下载 employees, physicians, community partners and donors. In the largest expansion of 天美传媒下载 Children’s since opening the current building in 2010, this expansion adds four floors to the west side of the hospital. This new space creates a 31-bed cardiovascular unit with a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and step-down unit, 14 new beds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and eight new beds for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The expansion also includes a hybrid MRI/catheterization lab, the only in the state of Tennessee and one of a few in the country, that will pioneer interventional MRI techniques for pediatrics.
